Welland’s Casa Dante shares the fruits of its labour

Donates $2,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Niagara

Niagara this Week – Welland

Three local charities got a nice boost this week after Welland’s Casa Dante Lodge handed out three cheques totaling more than $10,000.

On Thursday, April 11, members of the cultural group promoting Italian heritage met with representatives from three charities: Niagara Health Foundation, Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Niagara and Hospice Niagara.

Big Brothers Big Sisters received $2,000, while Hospice Niagara received $1,000.

The money was raised throughout the year through its regular pasta and gnocchi nights, as well as its bingo games run with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission.

Could you imagine making 6500 meatballs? Casa Dante is hard at work supporting local charities like ours. Thank you for your incredible impact on our community!

Thank you Casa Dante!!
